Here are the steps for getting the tattoo you want:
Ideas
Think about what you want and gather together your ideas. You can bring anything from just a verbal description, pictures, sketches, items, and examples of the style you'd like your tattoo done in. The more information you provide, the easier it is to get an idea of what you are really looking for.
When you know what you want, contact me to set up a consultation appointment.
Consultation
During the consultation, we go over your ideas and discuss how to turn them into a great tattoo that you will be super happy about. Measurements will possibly be taken so that your new tattoo will be designed to fit perfectly where you want it.
Set the tattoo appointment
A deposit will be taken to do the artwork for your tattoo and to guarantee your spot on the schedule. The deposit will be used towards the final cost of your tattoo. Your design will be drawn between your consultation and tattoo appointment so that it is ready for you on your appointment day.
For cover up tattoos
Tattoos designed for coverups need a little more consideration due to the limits imposed by the existing tattoo. A pre-consultation is highly recommended so that you can know what the actual limits are as far as design and size needed to successfully accomplish your coverup to help you come up with ideas for your tattoo.
With coverup tattoos, in the end, I want you to have a tattoo that you actually want and for it to not look like a coverup.
What do you charge?
I charge $150 an hour with a minimum of $100.
Can you give me a price quote on this?
All price quotes must be done in person.
For smaller designs, I can quote a flat price. For larger designs, it is $150 an hour.
I cannot give prices over the phone or through text because there is not enough information available to me on exact design, detail and size for me to feel that I am giving you an accurate price, so please stop by.
Do you do walk-ins?
Yes, I welcome walk-ins and will do your tattoo if I am able to.
First priority always goes to appointments. I may not have time if I am with an appointment or an appointment is due to arrive before your tattoo would be complete.
If time is needed to plan out and draw your design, I would need to set an appointment with you instead. I take my work seriously and want to give you the best of what I offer without rushing or cutting corners.
If I am unable to do your tattoo as a walk-in, I will be happy to take a deposit and schedule an appointment for you.
Can I make an appointment?
Yes! Appointments are always preferred.
I do not accept appointments over the phone. You will need to visit the shop to make an appointment. A deposit is also required to make an appointment. Here is how to make one.
Why can't I make an appointment or do a consultation on the phone/text/email?
Coming to talk in person ensures crystal clear communication and visual reference that text, phone and email can never provide.
I care about the work I do and want you to be happy with the tattoo you receive.
A short visit to talk about your idea provides all the information needed to design your tattoo that 100 texts could never make clear.
To make an appointment, a deposit is always required to hold time open for you.
I cannot accept any payment over the phone. Sorry!
What is the minimum age to get a tattoo?
By Texas law, you must be at least 18 to receive a tattoo. Your parent/guardian cannot sign for you.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and Venmo are accepted.
